Agreement

By using BeastHeart — including the mobile app, REST API, MCP server, and this website — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use BeastHeart.

The Service

BeastHeart is a heart rate variability tracking app that captures R-R intervals from a Bluetooth chest strap, computes HRV metrics, and provides a daily readiness score. Optional features include cloud sync across devices and AI assistant integration via MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Health Disclaimer

HRV data can be affected by sensor placement, movement, hydration, medication, and individual physiology. Readings may not always be accurate.

Your Account

BeastHeart works fully offline without an account. Cloud sync requires a Firebase Authentication account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys. Do not share your API key with untrusted parties.

You may delete your account at any time. See our Account Deletion page for instructions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the API or MCP server in a way that could degrade service for others
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Use BeastHeart for any unlawful purpose

Intellectual Property

BeastHeart — including the mobile app, API server, MCP server, and website — is proprietary software. All rights are reserved. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-Party Hardware & Services

BeastHeart requires a compatible Bluetooth heart rate monitor (e.g., Polar H10). We are not affiliated with Polar Electro or any hardware manufacturer. Hardware compatibility is not guaranteed.

Cloud features use Google Cloud Platform services (Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Run). Your use of cloud features is also subject to Google Cloud's terms of service.

Privacy

Your use of BeastHeart is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how your data is collected, stored, and accessed.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BeastHeart is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that HRV readings will be accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeastHeart and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, personal injury, or health-related outcomes — arising from your use of the app.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to cloud services at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Your local app will continue to function without cloud features.

Upon termination, you may delete your account and data using the in-app account deletion flow.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of BeastHeart after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where BeastHeart's principal operations are located.
